This hotel was the cleanest I have ever stayed in and was luxury at its finest. The suite was large and beautifully decorated. Plenty of towels, toiletries and complimentary snacks. The staff were friendly, courteous and very helpful as required. The setting is lovely and there is parking available as well as WiFi in the rooms. Good breakfast - great selection and eggs and bacon if you want. Provided us with pots of hot water - for tea - to our room without any room service charge.
I don't know whether it was because we stayed at low season but the only option regarding food was the a la carte restaurant or food in your room off that menu. There is a wine bar but it wasn't open and there was no room service menu as such. Also, it would have been useful to have a full length mirror in the suite and a television in the sitting room.

Staff were outstanding. Room was spacious and nicely appointed. Good views over vineyards and other villages. Hotel is a converted monastery and is a lovely structure with a quiet pool
Restaurant was closed and cherasco village where the hotel is located is a ghost town. A car is a must as taxis are exorbitant.

Beautifully redecorated; friendly and helpful reception staff; location
A lot of examples of mis-management: cleaning staff loud arguing in the corridor with management (they kept on shouting even while guests were passing ...); we had to ask for cleaning 1 day during our stay + this was also a problem with other guests; breakfast: to little choice of bread and nothing warm, so it doesn't meet the standard of a 4 star hotel; tables in the restaurant & breakfast are too low (you can't sit properly: there was to little space for the legs); airconditioning: not possible to get below 25° (even with outside temperature of only 27°); the manager took advantage of us to ask 290€ for an extra night (instead of 210€ of our booking) when we had to reschedule our trip due to a medical problem (urgent hernia surgery).

Charming boutique hotel with a touch of old monastery ambiance. Deluxe rooms are luxurious and beds are incredibly comfortable. Convenient central location, perfect for exploring Cherasco and nearby villages. The front desk is knowledgeable and recommends fantastic places to visit. Delicious breakfast served in a charming vaulted cellar. Despite a few minor drawbacks, I highly recommend this hotel for a memorable stay in the lovely area of Cherasco. I would definitely recommend this hotel for a stylish and enjoyable stay.
